Deliciously Baked Portobello Mushrooms
6 portobello mushrooms (cleaned)
6 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
2 cloves garlic (minced)
2 tsp sage (fresh and minced)
2 tsp thyme (fresh)
- Clean the mushroom caps and remove any dirt. Cut out the stems.
- Place the mushroom caps into a glass dish. Set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, garlic, thyme and sage. Mix until all ingredients are well balanced.
- Pour the mixture over the mushroom caps. Then, using a brush, spread the mixture evenly and make sure that each mushroom is well covered.
- Set the oven to 300 °F (150 °C). Leave the mushrooms to marinade while preheating the oven.
- Prepare a baking tray. Place parchment paper and spread the marinated mushrooms onto the tray. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
