Try This Easy Mushroom Linguine To Make Any Day

This mushroom linguine requires linguine noodles, butter, mushrooms, garlic, cream cheese, parsley, dried basil, water, and shrimp. You can substitute some of these with things like olive oil, garlic powder, cream, dry parsley, dry oregano, and other seafood, such as tilapia or scallops.
Linguine is not everyone’s favorite pasta, so consider using other types, such as parpadelle, penne, or rigatoni.
Be sure to start cooking the linguine first, as it takes a bit longer than the rest of the ingredients. While its cooking, heat the butter and cook the mushrooms for a few minutes, allowing them to brown and soften. You can set them aside and use the same pan to warm up the garlic, cream cheese, basil, and parsley.
You can simultaneously cook the shrimp as you prepare the rest of the pasta, or you can cook it ahead of time. Whenever the shrimp is ready, add it along with the cooked mushrooms. Cook everything together for a final few minutes and serve with the pasta.
Enjoy your creamy pasta warm with a pinch of salt and pepper and maybe some fresh bread.
If you want to make this recipe vegan, it is not hard. Simply exchange the butter for olive or avocado oil. Swap the shrimp for more vegetables or cannellini beans. And finally, use coconut milk instead of sour cream. If you want, you can make this ahead of time and save some more for later on in the week. You can also make the pasta and add whatever meat or seafood you like the day you plan on serving it.
