Cream of Mushroom Soup [Recipe]
2 tbsp butter
4 cups (approx. 500 g) white button mushroom (sliced)
1 cup (240 ml) chicken broth
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 cup (240 ml) milk
1/2 cup (120 ml) all-purpose flour
salt and pepper (to taste)
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Toss in the white button mushroom slices. Cook until the fluid has completely evaporated.
- Add both the onion powder and garlic powder to the saucepan. Pour in the chicken broth and continue to stir.
- Using a separate mixing bowl, add the flour and milk. Mix well.
- Pour the flour mixture into the saucepan. Continue cooking until the soup thickens.
- Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste. Adjust seasoning to achieve desired taste.
