Cook a Great Dinner Dish With This Mushroom Quiche [Recipe]

If you are hungry tonight, this mushroom quiche will not only satisfy you, but it will become a staple at home. Don’t worry if you’re not an expert baker, this recipe is pretty easy and it will turn out delicious.

This Mushroom Quiche Is The Perfect Dish For When You’re Hungry

Mushroom quiche sounds like a great idea!

To start with, the centerpiece of any quiche is the cheese, which in this case is shredded Swiss. This type of cheese is not only low in fat, but also relatively high in protein and calcium. If you don’t have any, switch it up for mild cheddar, Colby jack, shredded Parmesan, or mozzarella. Keep in mind that each cheese tastes different, and some will melt and crisp quicker.

Onto the second key ingredient: the mushrooms. This fungus is very nutritious and has a ton of health benefits. Still, you can use the canned type, fresh mushrooms, or change them up entirely. Other vegetables that work instead include asparagus, spinach, and eggplant.

The onions aren’t really necessary, but this vegetable is very good for your gut health. Other options are red onions, chives, leeks, or green beans.

For a quiche to be held together, you need to use eggs, flour, and milk. However, you can use any flour you have at home, such as bread, whole wheat, almond flour, or potato flour.

When it comes to milk, it’s best to use it if you can, but other alternatives can work. You can try using cream, half and half, coconut milk, and plain yogurt.

Finally, for simplicity, get one of those pre-made piecrusts. These are tasty and easy to work with. You can make your own if you like to, but it will take more time and effort.

This quiche is the perfect dish for when you are starving, have people over, or just want to have a warm, decadent meal.
