Get Stronger Bones and Muscles With These Mushroom Sirloin Burgers

Why use mushrooms?

You may not know, but mushrooms are one of the best sources of bioavailable vitamin D. This means that you will be giving your body this essential vitamin and helping grow strong bones and muscles in the process.

Usually, vitamin D is only found in animal sources, such as beef or dairy products. However, mushrooms have been used for centuries as a nutritional supplement for vitamin D.

Aside from helping store calcium, this vitamin aids in immunity and fights off free radicals in your body.

If you don’t like the sun, or don’t spend too much time under it, you most likely are low on vitamin D and don’t even know it. Then it is always a good idea to consume mushrooms for an extra boost that can solidify your bones, build stronger muscles, fight infections, and reduce inflammation.

To finish, mushrooms are a great source of B vitamins, selenium, and fiber. All of these play a key role in your body.

Isn’t beef bad for you?

The truth is, anything in excess is bad for you. However, you can consume beef every so often to make sure you get some nutrients.

One of the reasons that the sirloin works well with the mushroom here is that it contains protein, which, along with vitamin D, is exactly what your body needs.

Also, mushrooms and beef contain selenium, an antioxidant that helps in preventing damage at the cellular and tissue level.

You can consume both sirloin and mushrooms and expect your body to feel stronger and gain support to fight off pathogens and disease. Don’t worry about cheating this weekend if you are consuming these mushroom sirloin burgers, as you will be giving your body more strength!
