These Pork Chops With Mushroom Sauce Are The Filling Meal You Need Right Now

What makes these pork chops different?

Cooking pork was never easier than with this recipe, it truly just requires that you let the ingredients simmer together for a few minutes, and that’s it! You can swap the pork chops for other meat, such as turkey, cut up beef, chicken, or even fish.

To start, if you are thinking about not adding mushrooms, you may want to reconsider. This vegetable is highly nutritious and adds healthy benefits to your diet. However, you can replace it easily too. Consider using green beans, spinach, asparagus, or bell peppers.

The onion and garlic in this dish add aroma and flavor, but they also pack a ton of antioxidants and fiber that help lower cholesterol, manage blood sugar, and keep your gut healthy. If these aren’t your favorite, add leeks, celery, carrots, bok choy, or spinach instead.

As for the canned cream of mushroom soup, it truly just makes your life easy while adding tons of flavor.

If you don’t have any cream of mushroom soup handy, you can use cream, mushroom or vegetable broth, garlic, and salt. Mix them in a low simmering pot to create the same flavors as a soup would. If you prefer a dairy-free option, swap the cream out for coconut milk or another nut milk.

As you can see, these pork chops are very low-key, but they do pack all the flavors you are looking for. We recommend you eat them over white rice, egg noodles, or creamy pasta. You can also add homemade mashed or grilled potatoes.

Don’t stress about meals this week, make this dish in half an hour and enjoy with your family!
