These three ingredients go a long way!

No time to worry about your grocery list, as you only need three ingredients for this recipe. Gather your large button mushrooms, one package of Boursin cheese garlic and herb-flavored, and heavy cream. You will also need a bit of butter to start cooking everything.

Though not always recommended, you can exchange some of these ingredients. Try using shiitake mushrooms, oyster mushrooms, maitake mushrooms, cream cheese, dry herbs, garlic powder, half and half, and coconut milk.

Be sure to begin by warming up the butter over medium heat, and add the mushroom with a bit of salt and pepper, or your own spices of choice. This should take about four minutes.

Separately, heat the cheese in another saucepan until it melts. You should then add the cream and stir until you see everything mixed well enough. Finish off by pouring the sauce over the mushrooms.

For a more intense flavor, try adding more spices, like dry oregano, thyme, parsley, and even a touch of cayenne pepper. For those that prefer acidic flavors, add a dash of lemon juice while cooking.

You can serve this delicious creamy button mushroom Boursin with chicken, rice, and asparagus as a main dish. If you prefer, use it as a topping on your favorite cut of beef. You can also enjoy this dish as an appetizer with toasted bagel chips.

Enjoy your button mushroom Boursin warm or cold, depending on your preference.
