While a garlic mushroom skillet may not be something you consider to make at all, you should give this recipe a try because it takes no time and it tastes delicious. This is the perfect dish for those days when you get home late after a long day at work, or when you simply do not have time to think, or even better, when you have only a few ingredients in your fridge.
A Garlic Mushroom Skillet That Takes Almost No Time To Make!

Garlic and mushrooms go perfectly with peas!
For this recipe, gather your frozen peas, mushrooms, garlic cloves, butter, salt, and pepper.
You can also replace some of these ingredients. Try using canned peas, fresh snap peas, green beans, minced garlic, garlic powder, onions, and olive oil.
Mushrooms go well with almost any ingredient, but especially with peas and garlic. You can add more spices if you want, including dried basil, dried oregano, and dried thyme. If you want some color, try adding red bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, or yellow squash.
When you are ready to cook, place your skillet on the stove over medium heat, and melt the butter. You will want to add the garlic first so that it dissolves in the butter, and then add the mushrooms.
Wait a few minutes moving things around before you add the peas, as these can get mushy very quickly.
Lower the heat and cook for another 15-20 minutes, and serve warm. You can accompany this tasty vegetable skillet with some roasted potatoes or white rice. For a more satisfying and filling meal, try adding grilled chicken, pork, or turkey. To keep things vegetarian, consider using tofu, seitan, or even chickpeas.
Do not let your mushrooms go to waste. Try this tasty and simple skillet recipe any time for a yummy meal!
