Prepare These Crab-Stuffed Morels In Just Minutes!
Bring on the crab and mushrooms!
Morels are one of the more expensive mushrooms out there, but they are delicious and so worth the money. These mushrooms only grow for a short period, which is why they can be costly. However, once you buy them and cook with them, you will notice that they add texture, flavor, and aroma to your meals.
When it comes to crab meat, this is one of the easiest choices for protein. You can go with any store-bought crabmeat available and still get good quality. In seconds, your meals will go from boring, to being full of protein and filling.
For this dish, you will also need eggs, oil, mayonnaise, chopped sweet onions, lemon juice, breadcrumbs, and butter.
If you need to, you can substitute some of these ingredients. Try using olive oil, vegan mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, Panko, lime juice, and margarine instead.
All you have left to do is mix the crabmeat, egg, oil, mayonnaise, and breadcrumbs in a bowl. In the meantime, clean your morels, and then fill them up with the crab mixture.
You can bake your stuffed mushrooms for about 15 minutes at 375 degrees. Remember to always check on your morels while they bake, as some may bake more quickly.
