To prepare this meal, you will need cremini mushrooms, garlic, olive oil, Moroccan seasoning, tomatoes, red onion, fresh coriander leaves, salt, and pepper.
You can always try to substitute some of these ingredients. Use things like shiitake mushrooms, button mushrooms, oyster mushrooms, garlic powder, vegetable oil, paprika, cumin, cinnamon, canned tomatoes, yellow onions, and parsley.
Preparing this dish will take no time. Start by cleaning and cutting your mushrooms. We suggest a thick slice, as they are the center of the dish and will need to shine.
Sauté the onions and garlic in olive oil for at least three minutes. However, your onions might take longer to be ready. Once the onions are soft, sprinkle your seasoning and keep mixing.
To finish, add the mushrooms, and cook for a few minutes. Add in the tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Finalize the dish by garnishing with the coriander and serving it warm.
Not only is this an easy dish, but it is also full of flavor and nutrients. All of the ingredients in this dish are healthy and they provide a wide range of benefits. Your mushrooms and onions are great for digestion. The tomatoes will add acidity and tons of vitamins.
You can serve this dish on a bed of couscous, pearl barley, rice, or as a side dish. If you prefer, mix in some chicken, turkey, or pork for added protein and flavors.
