These sausage tarts with mushroom are the appetizer or party dish you’ve been searching for. No-fuss and no long ingredient list with this recipe. All you need is a little time and just a few things from your kitchen. Serving these will also make your mushrooms shine, which is often the main goal for all of us mushroom lovers.
For this recipe, you will need mushrooms, butter, shredded Italian cheese, mini Phyllo shells, pork sausage, and garlic.
These Sausage Tarts with Mushroom Are The Treat You Need

You can swap some of these foods for others. Try using your mushroom of choice, like oyster mushrooms, cremini mushrooms, button mushrooms, olive oil, mozzarella cheese, turkey sausage, beef sausage, or chorizo.
Even though we often think of tarts as a complicated meal, this one is not. You will be mostly using Phyllo shells that come ready to be baked, but if you wanted to make them yourself, you can.
Begin by preheating your oven to 350 degrees F. You should first bake the shells for about five minutes and then let them cool off.
Cook the sausage, garlic, and mushrooms separately. Be sure to clean and chop your mushroom beforehand. While the width of the mushroom does not matter, you should try to make them small enough that they fit your shells comfortably.
Once you are done cooking, you should fill your shells with the sausage mixture. After, sprinkle the cheese on top. Bake them for about 12 minutes, or until all the cheese has melted.
For more flavor, try adding more herbs and spices. You could use oregano, thyme, cumin, chili powder, or paprika. Be sure to season while you cook the meat and mushrooms for better flavors.
Serve your sausage tarts with mushrooms hot. You can use this recipe when you need an appetizer to a dinner party, when you want a tasty snack for the family get-together, or when you have to find what to take for your work potluck lunch.
