Turkey with Mushroom Sauce

  • 9 oz (225 g) button mushrooms, sliced

  • 4 turkey fillets

  • 3 tbsp flour

  • 1 garlic clove, diced

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp chicken bouillon powder

  • 1 tsp parsley, minced

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1 cup (240 ml) warm water


  • To start, you need to preheat the oven to 350 F (180 C).
  • In a regular bowl, combine garlic, flour, and salt. Dust the turkey with the flour mixture.
  • Heat the butter in a pan over medium heat, and cook the turkey fillets for 10 to 12 min on each side.
  • Remove the turkey fillets from the pan and drain. Place it on a serving plate.
  • Using the same pan, heat the oil, and cook the mushrooms for 11 min.
  • Get a regular mixing bowl and stir in the bouillon powder with water and parsley. Mix well.
  • Stir the mixture into the mushroom pan, and allow to cook for 4 to 6 min or until the sauce thickens.
  • You can now spoon the sauce over the turkey fillets.
  • Best served warm with some rice.
